The Depew Fire Department is currently looking for new recruits who are interested in taking an active role in their community. The volunteer fire service has been a long-standing tradition throughout the United States and also right here in the Village of Depew.

For over 125 years, the Depew Fire Department has relied on residents to volunteer their time to help their neighbors. Membership is available to all those who are interested in serving our community and preparing to become active firefighters, ages 14-17 for Junior Firefighters and age 18 and over for Firefighters. No experience is necessary, and all training is provided free of charge.

The Volunteer Firefighter membership category is available to all those who are interested in serving our community and preparing to become active firefighters, age 18 and over. No experience is necessary, and all training is provided free-of-charge.

The Junior Firefighter membership category provides a training program for young men and women, age 14-17 who are interested in serving their community and preparing to become active firefighters upon reaching the age of 18.
